Once you drive diesel, you won't go back to gas. My wife was the same way, I had to convenced her. She always said I had dieselidest. Got my first diesel in '82. 6.2 GMC. It was a good engin. I lost that truck in as accident with a lawnmower. Next I got a 84 GMC...Bad, bad engin, I sold it for parts after replacing the heads three times. Broke family tradition and bought a Ford 7.3 in '92. Good truck, I still drive it today with 260K miles on it. Onlt replaced the clutch so far. Wife liked it, she decided she wants one. I bought her a 99 four door Power Stroke. She already has 125K on her and had to replace the trans and clutch, $3400....replaced both computers, $4000...replaced wireing harnest for injectors, $1200.... I think I'll buy a Duramax now.
