Basically all you do is readjust the air/fuel mix - and some plastics/rubbers will disolve, but not a big deal on old steel. In cold weather they are more like a diesel, hard to start. You can put a heat collector on the muffler, or a water jacket around the carb to add heat. Fuel prices will be back to 'normal' by the end of summer, just like the last go-round. They will spike up now, as people are uncertain & unsettled, and some will try to take advantage & keep the prices up. But everyone producing oil needs the income, so they will keep selling. Part of the spike right now is that the USA has continued to buy to fill the reserves, so that put a bit of pressure on spot markets, which just keeps people jittery about it. Don't worry, it will all sort out & go back to 'normal' - somewhere under $2.00 a gallon. Just a short term spike for this spring. Think about us farmers - we need to plant a crop, use fuel, and buy fertilizer which is mostly made of petro products, plus the dry areas need to pump more water. Think of our bills during a spring price spike like this. ;) --->Paul
