Unless it's a heck of a long way to the barn, I'd drive it. What better way do you have to check it out ------immediately-----; not find out 2 weeks after the sale that something is not right with it?It'll get up to temp, somewhat of a load in road gear,you'll get to check the brakes out, and ,worst case, drive it back if you have to bail out on the deal.Iwould think 60 or 70 miles might be the cutoff mileage, depending on how tough you or the driver is.
