Mike: Been scratching my head on this one. Oh yes I am aware of John Horton and Springtime in Alaska. I think there is another and it is right out of Alberta and was written and sung by that old Calgary Stampede guy with Maritime roots, Wilf Carter. It is somewhere near tip of my toungue. Wilf had amoung his many songs one about the harshness of Canadian Winters.

So you see Mike your not the only Albertan with Maritime roots.
