Yup you're right, Rufus. Growing pineapples this far north take a lot of care and specialized equipment as well as a special strain of pineapple called the Yukon Gold. The Yukon Gold pineapple was developed in Toronto, Ontario by a pineapplist known only as Ont/Bob. Bob worked many years developing this pineapple for the world's benefit. He developed this extra juicy pineapple which grows only at temps below -10 C. It must be cultivated only when at least 3 meters of snow is on the ground.
