Doug, as BJ said they are a real pain and will eat everything including the roots. Also once they find an area they return year after year. Best way is to terminate them if there is only a few, but in your case it sounds like you have too many. I made a coyote cutout from an aged piece of plywood. I nailed it to a stake and the geese are fooled and don't come around. Just get a good picture of a coyote and draw it out making it the size of a mid-size dog. The old plywood is the key as the gray/brown color is lifelike. I also put a red eye cut from a plastic paint cap on it. The eye really spooks them. The coyote looks so real cars stop and take pictures and watch a long time. The fact that it doesn't move makes no difference to geese or people, they both think it's real. Many people stop and want to buy it for their places. It works for me, good luck. Unimog
