I have a 1250 Oliver that has a two position pto control. In one position pto seems to be 540 rpm but in the other pto slows down extermly and when you go into reverse pto also reverses. What's the purpose? Also I'm thinking of getting something in the power/weight range of a 4020 Deere. Is there anything in particular to look for that would indicate condition and how tractor has been maintained?
