I think that ADM researchers work on the corn/ethanol fuel substitute. Remember that gasoline has twice the energy that ethanol does. which means that corn has to cost 1/2 of gasoline to make it worth while. Plus about 36cents of every gallon is for taxes. If the US government was serious about giving the american driver a break then the taxes would be reduced. And by the way driving a fuel efficent car helps too.
