My dad and brothers all run Suzuki King Quads. Fantastic machines. I could not afford one so I bought 2 used 2WD Kawasawki Prairie 400s. They were used for contract hiway trash pick up. Contract was not renewed and I bought the machines. Good solid machines and I am well pleased. Both are 4 stroke, have 2 speed hi-lo auto tranny (great for kids and wife). Top speed ~50 mph and can grunt when needed. In lieu of the 4x4 (extra $$) I bought a used winch from a buddy and have yet to mount it on mine. These rigs are light enough that if I do get stuck I can "man-handle" it around to get going again, YET, husky enough to haul my a$$ around, plus feed, kids and whatever. For me the plus is not having to feed & water it when not being used plus no fence cuts. FWIW
