James, I'm not sure why you get all those zeros, could be that your computer display is set up for a different resolution. The reason I use Flashearth is because all the different image sites are available in the upper left corner. You can pick the one that has the highest resolution in your area.

This is what I see when I click the link in my original post.



When I zoom in to far I get all those zeros on lower resolution images.
