Hi, Shep.
You could try yellow lenses in the lights if you can find them or put yellow perspex filters in front of the lights as close as you can get them to the lens then close off the sides all round. This thought comes from the yellow insect repellant globes that you can buy for domestic use -- at least here in DownUnder.
Or wear a beekeeper's outfit. You get also get the boys to start studying entomology.
