I believe the 1086 was rated 132 horsepower. My grandpa bought one new in 1980 and had it turned up to 160 as soon as it was out of warranty. It was the main field tractor for years, along with a 1066 and another 1086. It went to 12,000 hours on the original engine without having the head lifted once.
