seems to be the only 100% reliable way to start a ford diesel... nothing like plugging in 2 tractors in the winter time to start one to do the chores....
the gas tractor was running on half it's cylinders due to burnt valves, diesel had bad starter and charging system....we were still milkin cows for a livin and couldn't even afford the 50-100$ to repair the diesel's starter.
nothin like bein broke!
thank god we're slightly better off today
