Actually, if you've hung around the forum here long enough you'd know that most of those topics (or off-topics) you mentioned do in fact get bashed eventually. Not always, but quite often. As far as the rusty bolt one is concerned, I'd have to agree with you that some responses do in fact get out-of-line (like calling people bible thumpers, generalizing about Jehovah's Witness', etc). But keep in mind that the person who made the original post probably knew exactly what kind of response the post was going to get and I have no doubt that was the exact reason why it was posted on a tractor discussion forum in the first place. Do you seriously think he was really trying to spread the word of the lord? Hardly the place to do it in my opinion. I think anyone here is justified in complaining about the post, however we all have to be careful about how angry or bitter our responses are. In my opinion (while I know where you're coming from), you got a bit nasty yourself I would say.
