I looked up a bunch of information, both from an IH operators manual for the H and the repair manual for the liftall yesterday for someone else. With a PAIR of 3 inch cylinders, the unit will lift around 58oo pounds, according to the book. I have seen just about everything on the old H tractors in my native Nebraaska and they did a good job. It's better with a wide front end, but, most of them had the narrow front.
