For my MF 690 I would prefer MF Permatran III, but an alternative is the Pennzoil "Hrdra-Tranz Tractor Fluid". You can go on Pennzoil's website and look under car/truck products. You will find very detailed spec sheet for the Hydra-Tranz. I shows meeting all the requirements of the MF Permatran III, including the wet brakes. Tractor Supply (TSC)sells the Hedra-Tranz at $29.99 per 5 gallon pail. (Do not buy the "Traveller" brand at TSC - off brand junk) Hope you are near a TSC. Good luck.
