Here's an idea, only cost about $50.00. Go to your local co-op or farm store and get someoil analysis kits. (I pay $10.00 each at Southern State). Ask these guys to pull some samples for you at hteir next 25K change. Pull one from yours at 2000 and then maybe go 4000 or so and pull one. Compaire what the results look like. I usually change my tractors every 150 hrs, trucks and car every 5000 miles. I know they might last a little longer with a more frequent change but usually trade cars at a 100,000 and never noticed any oil related probs. Trucks, got 350,000 on a powerstroke only engine work was rebuilt the heads. got 70K on a cummins, still too young to tell on it.
