Can't answer your question but I tested all sorts of lock washers on my deuce-and-a-half and concluded that the only thing that works are the deformed locking nuts. Good news is that we have a local fastener store that stocks them. Guess what goes on hard-to-keep-tight areas of my machinery? Just remember, they aren't meant for reuse.
