If you use a bulk tank I think that you should have it in a containment area that will handle at least the volume of the tank in the event of a rupture or leak. A roof over it will keep the containment area from filling with water. If at some time you want to sell your place you will get taged for any cleanup cost. Even a small spill can be very very expensive. Its a lot of work but its the way it should be done.
