Around here (Kentucky) prices on tractors have been off about 20% on good used tractors since beginning last spring. Equipment has been variable. Stuff for weekenders with 5 acre tracts has been bringing new price for junk (ragged out 10" Shaver post driver for $2400.00, new on at a dealer accross the street for $1990). Dairy and silage stuff, less than scrap price. Saw 50 new free stalls, never assembled, for $50.00 (yeah, fifty bucks for the whole lot); 3 yr old 2 row JD silage chopper, (great shape, used on 600 acres) with both heads for $800.00; and a complete double 4 parlor set up with 5 ton grain bin brought $1000.00 (you remove). Wish I had a desire to milk cows. Big iron has beendown for a while longer.
