Older Tractor used Prices

12 years ago I bought a nice looking & good running condition 1939 John Deere model A Deluxe with ok condition disc, plow & cultivator for $600. I sold the tractor (mistake) to a persistant collector 5 years later for $750 after buying a garden tractor/rototiller set up (I kept the impliments).
Now, I noticed older tractors are selling for much more money easily outstripping inflation.
Why so much money now?
