One of the main reasons that they went out of business was that they were so darned boring, nobody would buy their product. They then retooled and went on the market as the Exciting Tractor Company, better known as the "ETC". Obviously another mistake since people mixed them up with the famous ETD. After that nothing worked and the company folded forever as the Nothing Tractor Company (NTC).
