I'm not a fan of additives after reading many reports. Many companies, Slick 50 for example, are in US Federal Court for defrauding the consumer. If you have a diesel, follow the manufactures latest recommendations for oil. In gasoline engines, I like Havoline Formula 3. It tests best next to Amsoil synethic oil. Beat out Mobile 1 new formula also. I am not much on automotive synethic oil. It is not the same, expensive oil used in aircraft jet engines!
