This tractor thing is new to me, as this is my first tractor. I bought a Bolarus 250 with a Kelly front loading bucket, full cab, and 33(?) h.p. air cool engine. I enjoy this tractor a lot. I use it on my 5 acre lot with good results. I am very interested in hearing fair, objective feedback on this tractor. I'm sure there are good and bad with every brand of tractor out there. I realize that it may not have value later on, but I really didn't buy it as an inveatment. I hope I purchased a tractor that will continue to serve me well. Thank you.

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
