Boy what a pain in the A$$ having a trailer can be. I have a 20' gooseneck with a 5' tail. all the neighbors want to borrow it. Finally after it coming back the second time with binders mashed up I decided that was enough. Heres what I do when someone wants to borrow the trailer. Put food in me (that one can be substantial) Fuel in my PU and pay my hotel bills if needed. I would guess with a 2k weight limit 30 to 50 cents a mile would be reasonable. I wouldn't pull an OUNCE more with a van and a trailer without brakes ESPECIALLY going through the mountains. off my soap box now JT
