Does the 806 have a TA? The MCV on the side of the transmission has a oil pressure dump valve connected to the clutch which will cause the trans oil pressure light co come on when the clutch is depressed. This is designed to prevent the tractor from starting out in high range of the TA. If the dump valve is correctly adjusted,as you engage the clutch, the oil light must go out before the tractor starts to move. If so all is well. :)
