Overall tractor weight on a 800 is substantially over your 9N. If it is local I guess you could always try to go pick it up with the three point and see how light the front end is. I had an english hoe that I cannot remember the name of right now and it was really not very large. However the geometry of the attachment points was such that it was impossible to transport with my 2N. That how probably had a digging reach of 6-7 FT deep and a 16 inch shallow bucket.
Backhoes are so sought after and pretty handy that even if your tractor cannot handle it, it may be worth buying, then finding a larger tractor down the road.
