I'm guessing that it has something to do with the "liability scare" with perhaps prices or descriptions being inaccurate or misleading, etc. Remember a few weeks ago all the discussion surrounding the disclaimer thing? Somehow I think it might have something to do with that. I don't visit the photo ads too much myself but for those that do, I can see the change resulting in them not even bothering to look. An asking price is the least you can expect in an advertisement.
