Bret, I agree that our gov't is screwy and our media sometimes portrays Americans in a poor light. However we in western Canada feel quite alienated by our federal gov't down east also. Actually many of us out here feel that we have a lot more in common with the U.S. than with eastern Canada. I do admire your patriotism, something we could use a little more of here.
