It is quite possible the parts will go together. If there is going to be a problem it will be in the clutch and pilot bearing or the input shaft to your gear box. The engines were good engines. Federal Mogul makes quite a few parts, and is available from most part stores. If you want to shop around get part numbers from NAPA and check by part number with places like Advance Autoparts or the others, they can't seem to look up parts for anything other than cars anf light trucks, and have to start with the year of manufacture first, but if you come in with a part number they cna look it up, and you might find cheaper parts. The parts are very expensive. Continental quit making industrial engines in either the 1970's or 1980's, and continued making aircraft engines which they still make.
