registration

I have purchased a new, old fordson dexta just last year. I have just finished the restoration and do not have any V5 documents of know what the number plate was, as there was not one on it. I would like to find out how I can find this out. I have an idea that the tractor is a 1962, and can find out the engine and serial number if needed. Any help would be much appreciated.
