Can't comment on the rates of UPS, but the delivery service by our UPS guy in a smaller town (pop. 20,000), is awsome. Our guy is friendly, helpful and will take extra care with our packages if we're not home (he even helped me take a heavy package off a truck delivery from another company!). Regular postal service has improved over the last 8-10 years, but the local UPS service is still better.
