I would agree with Mike, the US postal rates are compairable to UPS and usally is only 3 days vs 5-7 for UPS ground. Personally, I worked as a contractor in the UPS center in OKC on and off for a couple years and after seeing the way they handle (process) the packages, pack it with plenty of packing material. Wouldn't hurt to pack that box in another box with plenty of packing material.
