I have had as good success using the regular government mail services, Canada Post here and US Postal Service in the States. One big advantage is the price is reasonable and the service is pretty darned good overall I'd say. Every time I use UPS there are expensive charges to begin with and then always some surprise expense as well. I know the government service takes a lot of criticism but in my experience, you get as much bang for a lot less buck.
