From what I've heard, the 700 series was offered in only one model, the 740. However, it could have come with a dual tire tricycle setup, a single tire tricycle, or a wide front. Sometimes an aftermarked wide front was installed later. The 700 shares the same engine as the 600 series, a 134 cu in overhead valve gas engine. The serial number is indeed a 1955, probably built around July. Value could be anywhere from $2500 to $3500 in the condition you describe. I believe they are fairly rare (never see them around here anyway) and it seems they are rising in value as a collectible tractor.
