Purcchase of Ford 8N or 2000

I am considering buying a Ford 8N or 2000 and a finish mower from a dealer that I have known and believe I can trust. I do this to mow 3-4 acres instead of wearing out riding lawn mowers. These tractors seem to be in good condition mechanical fair condition in metal and tires. The tractors are priced $2300 & $3200. Can I expect these tractors to be dependable enough to make this economical wise if they are in good condition and used 50-100hrs per year ? Are these the correct size for the job? Thanks JT
