HP is HP, the measure of how much work it can do per hour.
Torque is the amount of twist on a shaft, whether stationary or rotating at any rpm.
Torque rise when lugging down from peak HP to peak torque in a tough spot IS NOT POWER. It's just torque rise but productivity is falling faster than torque is rising. It just didn't stall as soon when overloaded.
Didn't anyone pass high school math and physics? This topic is forever re-occurring on this site.
