The Massey 135 is a good choice for and all around tractor. Also, the Farmall utilities are very good. I am also partial to Farmall 400 and 300. I just sold a 400 diesel that was a dandy. Live hyd. live power and the whole works + a t\a for the tough stuff. Farmalls were very popular in the WV area and parts are avalible. The draw back is finding fast hitch implements unless you convert to 3-pt. The Ford 800 series is also a good choice. My next door neighbor owns an 850 and will put it against any other make. It has all the conveniences except no power steering on his. Parts are also easily had for the Fords. Try to steer him away from the compacts. Last spring I watched a city guy who moved in down the road proudly pull his Kubota out in the field to brush hog. He not so proudly put it back away when it didn't have the power to mow. Later that evening I got on my old M-H 44,waved and smiled to him as it easily mowed along with a 6' brush hog. Sorry so wordy. Just my opinions.
