Changing Rear Tires

Have decided to fix a flat on my 13.6 x 28 rear tire myself. Bought the spoons and duckbill. Got the tire off and tube out but it was a struggle. Looking for recommendations for a lubricant to use to make putting the tire back on easier. Soapy water dont seem slick enough. Probably should not use grease since it will deteriorate the rubber.
