If plugs and wires don't help, I had a cletrac (hercules) that would fire on 3 cyl's, but would not pick up the fourth. After much investigation, sent the mag back to the shop with an explanation of troubleshooting methods used,(including pulling the wire and holding it back a ways, it had REAL weak spark from #3) the mag shop we used confirmed that we in fact had a mag problem, exchanged it for us on warranty on a repaired mag, and got us going again. FYI
