Ensign stoped production in the early 60's. A lot of companys (JD included) used the huge inventory on their tractors for years. Ensign closed by the mid 60's. Parts were no longer avalable by the mid 70's. Several companys have made repair kits over the years. They always stop production for 2 reasons. Cost and lack of sales. I know it's not original, but change to Impco or Century. Both of these are better systems. You may be able to tinker with the Ensign and make it work. Try flushing it with Diesel Fuel to clean the oil out of it.
