I remember taking a trip from Rosebud,Tx to Artesia, N.M. the last weekend in January, superbowl weekend, '92. A friend of mine wanted some company for the ride, going after a load of alfafa. He had the phone number of the weight station we would be going by with the load of hay. He called the number, no answer. I ask him what he would have done had they been there and he said "stay put until they don't answer". Making a short story long, he wasn't legal and I didn't know it until he called that number!!! Sure was glad to get back to Texas.
