Glenn I pull my 20 ft gooseneck with a 97 Ford 250 with 460/auto get 9mpg with 2 tractors on it. I get 14mpg just trucking around. Truck only has 45000 miles on it. I got the 97 because I like the old body style. This is my second 460 had a Chevy once with the 454 great motor. Good luck on finding your truck. Tom
