Yes yes yes!!! Then there's "rural preservation." That means less traffic, noise, lights etc. than where they came from, but more of all that for you all and us. Their development raises your taxes, and your property values IF you sell, but they don't want you to do that.
So there's a big old subdivision across the road from you, but you have to stay around and keep farming to "preserve" their view after they have done ruined yours!
If you have to haul hay (or tobacco, or feed, or lime, etc) on the road much, how about a bumper sticker - "If you ate supper last night, slow down and shut up!"
