Scott, I own a 2000 4X4 ExtraCab, it is equiped with the 4.7 litter V8 and a 4 speed overdrive automatic. I've put 55K on this truck and haven't had a lick of trouble with it. I bought it used with 13k on it almost 3 years ago, it had to be sold in a divorce settlement. In the last 2+ years I've pulled various pieces of haying equipment around the county (bale wagon, bale, swather etc.) and have had zero problems with it. I've taken 2 long tractor trips with it without any problems. First one was to Lincoln, NE and back to Boulder, CO, hauled a Super C out and hauled the SMTA that I traded for back. Second trip, hauled a parts Farmall C and a parts Farmall A to upper Minnisota then went on to International Falls, Canada and hauled a 300 Farmall back to Boulder, CO with out a single problem. The trailer I use is a 18 foot car trailer with electric brakes, the truck pulls it great, has plenty of power, will cruise the interstate at 75+ MPH and hold the road just fine. It does have a healthy thirst for petrol pulling a heavy load, gas milage drops from 15mpg no trailer city to 5mpg with trailer and 5200lb tractor. I will say that the rear suspension needs some extra help, tends to bottom out quickly on the frame with a heavy load. Scott, that's my two bits worth, I'm a satisfied Toyota owner, e-mail me if you'd like to ask more. Good Luck! Ernie Bob

The generator was shot as well as all the wiring. I dropped off the tractor expecting a transformation from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system utilizing the original generator housing, and a total rewiring of the whole tractor. The front end center pin bushing was worn also so I ask that they replace it if they had time. Well, that’s wha
