add a blade to 1850

I am new to farming, and have bought an Oliver 1850 to use on about 50 acres of alfalfa. I also need to move some dirt around and am considering putting a blade and shovel on the tractor. I get conflicting information about whether the tractor can handle it or not, and whether to install on the front or the rear. Can anyone help me?
