Mogs drive just like any truck. You only use the
4wd on demand. Mogs come in all sizes with all
types of options. The larger units usually have
quicker road speeds. The model 406 like mine is
limited to 48mph, that's foot to the floor. With
any extra weight from an attachment the speed
would be reduced, which would be good from a
safety point as well. The 3-pt comes in CAT 2=3
depending on the Unimog model, universal hitch
Mine has drum brakes, but most from the late 70s
up come with 4 wheel disc brakes. Most all have
power steering. New ones have air ride seats, air
assist shifting, etc. Your only limited by your
pocketbook. If you want the name of a Unimog
dealer email me. Keep in mind for the US importing
the Mog has to be 25 years old for on road use.
Newer models can come in for offroad or farm use.
