The Field Marshall cartridge should not be purchased from K-Mart. It is a special load with slow burning powder. On the whole it is not a satisfactory way to start them. One guy I heard of had a dud on his first cartridge and loaded a nother one in the chamber. The unburnt powder from the first was still in the manifold when the second shell fired. The explosion damaged the tractor and portions of his body. Don't know where but I suspect groin area. The last Field Marshalls had electric start. They also had a crank and decompression device. I think most people pull start them. I have one but it is not running.
