Please consider a diesel. My Dodge Cummins HO with 6 speed has over 500 ft/lb of torque stock and never, ever gets less than 17 MPG while pulling my trailer. 19.66 avg MPG without trailer. Gas engines can't touch the performance or mileage. You will pay more for the diesel upfront though. I've been there with the big gas engines. I will never go back. No flames here, just my experience. Oh, and diesels come with a 100 thousand mile powertrain warranty too!
