Earl, You can't hardly go wrong with a Ford Jubilee, or a 600 series or 2000 series. They don't cost a whole lot ($2500 to 3500 generally ) and they are practically bullet proof for what you are doing. Most of the equipment that you will want will be availible locally and advice from trusted sources such as magazines and sites like this, abound. They handle well and if you decide your finished with the garden, you probably won't lose any money. If you decide that you absolutely have to have a diesal, there were some made but the gasoline jobs are so easy to fix and take care of. firedog
